New program to reduce Analytical Technology´s consumption of water

Water is health, life, energy, development. Water is everywhere: in our food, transport, hygiene, laser, industry, even in living beings. It is an essential part of life.

 

However, despite representing 70% of the planet, a mere 3% is not salty and less than 1% is potable. Water is scarce and badly distributed and needs to be saved.

AT is aware of this and knows that everyone shares the responsibility of preserving water.

For this cause, during the last week, a water leaking regulatory system was implanted on all taps with the aim of reducing the consumption of this invaluable for our lives good.

This program is part of a set of objectives and aims outlined in the company’s management system of HES, which assures a reduction of 10% to 15% in the consumption of this resource, which should be seen in the first month through environmental indicators.

AT maintains partnership with a German company specialized in the environmental sector, acquiring technological equipment of the latest generation.

This is just one of AT initiatives concerning awareness and environmental preservation. Other projects are being developed and will be put into action before the end of 2008.
